Early English Country Antiques and Antique Furniture
The identical Chest is illustrated in The Age of Oak and the Age of Walnut by Percy Macquoid Page 9 fig 8 and is dated (about) 1470 ! I personally put it at 1520/40. Excellent condition and very good dry surface. Lock and Hasp replaced as is one hinge.
